Epoxy flake flooring is a popular resin-based system that combines durability with a decorative finish. It starts with a solid epoxy base coat applied directly over properly prepped concrete. While the base is still wet, colored vinyl flakes—or “chips”—are broadcast across the surface to create texture, color, and visual interest. These flakes can be customized in size and color to suit the design, from subtle neutrals to bold, high-contrast blends. We have access to hundreds of different flake blends! 

Once the flakes have been broadcast, the surface is scraped to remove any loose or standing flakes, then sealed with a clear, protective topcoat that is also UV stable. We like to use polyaspartic—to lock everything in and provide a smooth, stain-resistant finish.
